Before-
The right side wall supplied the refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a wrapped around counter.
The left side contained the sink and dishwasher with little counter space.

After-
Removal of a partial wall on right side and the wall on the south side. This opened up the kitchen to the south view of the deck, trees, and allowing more day light eliminating the use of the fluorescent light that was used prior before the remodeling. This gives the kitchen a more natural feeling and comfort.

This is the final results in Jim & Susan's kitchen.
 
With these changes the new kitchen now has more counter space, more floor space, better flow for the cook or cooks, an openness that allows the cook to enjoy the view, and being able to converse with guest when gatherings are happening.
